Soaking into celestial awe.

‘Aurora borealis’ or the northern lights, were first recorded in a 30,000-year-old cave painting in France. Around the world, many civilizations interpreted the origin of polar lights. Some imagined it to be the spirits of their great ancestors while others thought it to be the spirits of animals they hunted. In Roman myths, Aurora referred to the goddess of dawn.

Though now we know the lights are created by the sun’s energized particles interacting with our planet’s magnetic field. Nonetheless, no one can deny the magical experience it must be to witness this dance of lights on Earth.

Somewhere between imagination and knowledge, we will always be awed by the mysteries of nature and our connection to it.

Founded in 2013 by @MeriSunrise and @Vivirgi, it was their shared passion and a vision of ‘Reconnecting People to the Sea’ that started the idea for Worldrise.

Consciously gazing at nature and acknowledging ONENESS is a meditative practice that is known to improve mental health and cognitive skills.

Through the art of gazing we expand into the source and we become it. The physical body has its limitation, but through gaze, we reach infinity.
When you look at the ocean remember, you are it.
